Instructions for cutting our wire ropes without fraying ends
Suitable for all types of steel and stainless-steel wires up to a max. of 2mm thickness
Take 1 tube of the superglue from the package and have the cutting pliers ready.
Use a marker to make a mark on the cable where you will cut. Repeat for each cable to be cut.
While the marking dries, open the superglue tube. Do not apply pressure to the tube as the glue will flow out immediately.
Apply one or two drops of glue to the mark on each cable to be cut.
Let the glue dry for 5 – 10 minutes.
Use cable cutters to cut the cable at the marked mark. The cable must not fray. If this is the case, you have used too little glue or have not allowed the glue to dry sufficiently.
Please note: This adhesive should not be applied to Styrofoam, foam rubber, polyethylene or polypropylene plastics.
This super glue Classic is a super strong, fast glue and can also be used for small repairs and gluing. The superglue Classic is transparent and can therefore be used for daily utensils.
