In terms of their function, steel wires and perlon wires are the same. They also have the same limitation; you cannot tie a loop in it. Fortunately, GeckoTeq has much better solutions for that. Steel wires are usually used for somewhat heavier works of art.

Perlon thread is clearly less visible and - depending on the background - sometimes completely disappears. For both types of wire, there are various options for attaching them to the rail.

Steel has a more industrial look (taste issue)
Steel has much less elongation under load. With a load of 20 kg, Perlon sags approximately 60 mm per meter (with steel, these sags are negligible). br />Steel is much less sensitive to damage (less risk of breakage)
